Description: Approx. 23" tall composition with cloth body. The composition has cracks, crazing , rubs and missing composition as shown in the pictures. Doll is unmarked. Cloth body is dirty and the crier is intact but does not work. His sleep eyes function properly but are busted/cracked and crazed. He still has most of his eyelashes. Open mouth with 2 upper teeth and tongue. Dotted nostrils. His left cheek has an indentation please zoom in on the picture. His brown molded painted on hair is missing in spots. It has rubbed off over his years of being cuddled and played with. Has all fingers and toes. Missing composition in places like bottom of right foot and tips of some of his fingers and other places I'm sure. Cloth body is dirty as are most vintage cloth bodies. It appears like something spilt on his stomach area. Looks to me like some kind of putty, but I do not know. Crier is intact, but does not work. Charlie will come in the clothes and diaper that he is wearing. They are NOT original, but look really cute on him. He has NO socks and NO shoes and the yellow blanket and bench are NOT included. They are used as props ONLY. Could you give Charlie a good home and a little tender loving care to restore him back to his original old self?
