Complete set collection of Presidential Campaign Buttons Pinbacks 1896 to 2020

Description: I am offering a COMPLETE set of (almost) Original* Presidential buttons & pinbacks from every election from 1896 - the year cello buttons were invented - through the 2020 election, all mounted within a black shadowbox display case. A total of 85 Pins-Buttons-Pinbacks with 84 of them Originals!!! This collection took me years to complete; here's your chance to save a lot of time and money! To replace the coins individually would easily cost you over a thousand dollars. The pins represent over one half of the history of the United States - Over 125 years of historic elections! The set contains original pins of both the Democrat & Republican parties in every election beginning in 1896. Also included are the originals of any 3rd party candidates who obtained a significant percentage of the vote: T.R.'s Bull Moose (Progressives), LaFollette, Nader, Thomas & Maurer (Socialist in '32), Thurmond's '48 Dixiecrats, Perot '92 and others. It also includes RFK, who likely would have won the nomination in '68. I also humorously kept a Gerald Ford WIN - "Whip Inflation Now" pin as reminder that once elected, these guys can only do so much. Occasionally there is more then 1 pin for a candidate in an election (e.g. Goldwater, Hoover, JFK). All buttons are in the condition I received them; I have not cleaned any of them. It includes the too large 2024 Harris button but I could not find a small Trump '24 button. I deliberately purchased smaller pinbacks over the years for the collection. If you look at the full set, 1896 is in the upper left corner and the collection runs chronologically in a "Z" pattern, left to right, then downward to the left, then down to the right, etc. Most of the small pins at the top of the box running through to Kennedy/Nixon are .75" diameter. The "T.R." pin is .5"; Landon & Re-elect Hoover are each .5"; Dewey with ribbon and Truman are 1.25"; Nixon/Agnew is 1.75"; RFK & Wallace are 1.5" Anderson and Reagan Keep America Great are 1.75"; Kerry, McCain, Trump 2016, Biden 20, & Trump '20 are each 1"; Harris is 2.25". *To the best of my information, knowledge and belief, all of the buttons are original to that election EXCEPT Davis and Bryan, which is a vintage reproduction; it is NOT ORIGINAL. "She Who Must Be Obeyed" wants me to downsize so I am selling any framed items not hanging on my walls. These items are sold "as-is". Please look at the pictures and decide for yourself.
