Description: For sale is an awesome complete set of the 1946 to 2005 Roosevelt Dime Set in a Deluxe U.S. Mint Album--all in high grade condition. The Roosevelt Dime began in 1946 and continues minting to this day. In fact it is the longest-running coin in history without a design change. They were 90% silver until 1964, and then began clad mintage. This set consists of all regularly-minted mint state coins up til 1976, AND then includes all the issued proof coins from 1968 to 2004, including the modern Silver Proofs! That gives you 48 mint state silver coins, 13 Silver Proofs, and 36 clad proof coins, for a total of 179 coins in the set! The silver coins in this set totals almost 5 ounces of pure silver! And an added icing on the cake in this set is it includes the rare 1996-W Dime, the very first "W" minted Roosevelt Dime. It was not issued for circulation and was only included in the 1996 Mint Set. It is one of the only key dates of the entire series because they minted just over 1.4 million coins. The Set is housed in a Deluxe U.S. Mint coin album.All the coins in this set are in awesome condition, and most of the early coins are high XF grade up to being full MS uncirculated grades. The later coins are all full-blown MS uncirculated. The majority all have that lustrous finish as if they were fresh from the Mint, and the proofs have that gorgeous mirror-image finish you expect from great proof coins. There are a couple some toning here and there but none have any excessive damage and none have been cleaned.This is a great set of coins and a great silver investment at such a great price. Thanks!
