COLEMAN MODEL 200A GREEN SINGLE MANTLE LANTERN MADE IN USA IN SEPTEMBER OF 1981

Description: Happy Holidays and Welcome to a Happy-campers2 Buy-It-Now Holiday Sale! Up for sale, and your consideration, is this Green Coleman 200A Lantern! NOTE: Please read all of the text in the description! The Coleman Company produced the Model 200/200A from 1950 until 1983. The lantern in this auction was made in September of 1981. In June of 1980, Coleman began producing the Model 200A in green instead of the traditional red. The only real flaws on the fount are a number of chips in the paint and cracked decal. The vent is in fair condition with some chips. The burner frame has been treated with 1350 degree Chromex. The 200A in this auction has been completely disassembled and all parts cleaned or replaced as needed. Upon reassembly, the lantern received a new fuel cap gasket. The pump leather has been oiled. It pumps up and holds pressure. It has also been fueled. When the valve wheel is opened, there is the familiar hiss and gurgle of a working lantern. This 200A retains a red lettered made in USA globe. The globe has a noticeable burn mark on it. A copy of the operating instructions will be included in the auction. Please note: As hard as we try to get the check valve cleaned up, they may sometimes still leak unless the valve stem is closed, as Coleman literature states. This lantern is ready to go on your next camping, hunting or fishing trip. The lantern could also be handy in case of emergencies! Please see photos: INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE!! Lanterns are disassembled of globe, vent and bail handle. The globe is bubble wrapped and then placed in a coffee can or separate carton before being placed in the shipping carton. All other pieces are bubble wrapped and all voids are packed with suitable light weight material so that all parts are immobilized inside the shipping carton. Fuel will be emptied from all lanterns & stove before shipping! SHIPPING: PLEASE NOTE! Due to items being damaged with combined shipping, we will combine only TWO won items per shipping carton!! We use USPS Parcel Select for the majority of our domestic shipping. However, with the Postal Service now using more dimensional weight, we may use FedEx or UPS for ground shipping if it will save a buyer some dollars. International shipping is via Priority Mail International. Of course, if your item is within First Class weight limitations, we will ship First Class Mail.
