We hung him in the side window of the car so he could amaze the people in passing cars. Then he went to college for a few years, lived in the first apartment, and has been retired for more years than he should be. Very funny piece of folk art. Nostrils and lips are carved and painted red. Eyebrows and whiskers are painted black, or possibly wood-burned. Eyes are shells, and they are rather amazing. (HOW did they get those shells in there?) Hanging hook on top. About 6" across at widest, about 9" tall Some cracks just from the husk drying out over time. It looks like it once had a clear-coat of varnish and there are places where that has rubbed off, leaving a lighter look. You can always refresh that. Please check out the photos.
