Description: This is a signed 8 by 10 inch painting by William Taglieri. Signature is not clear on this canvas, but can be seen on the dark area- bottom right of painting). He began as a NY City police officer and became a well known artist on Long Island (Levittown). While on Long Island, He and my mom Emma Meehan were involved in teaching art classes. He also was commissioned to do murals in Washington D.C. My mom and Dad moved to Viginia Beach in the late 1960s, where my Mom got involved in Art and was a part of the Virginia Beach Boardwalk Art Show for 30 plus years. "Bill" Taglieri moved to New Bern North Carolina, where he continued his Art and became famous. I am listing a couple of his paintings that Have been in my basement for years along with many of my Moms paintings. Time to share them with the public.
