The IBANEZ ROADSTAR II BASS comes from the world famous Fuji-Gen factory and is their own unique design. It is an incredibly versatile instrument that can handle any style of music you throw its way. The RB835 is a "32 inch" medium scale Roadstar II Bass series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1987-1988. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen. The RB835 features a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position marker, side dots and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez HI-B active pickup's with a EQ-BII preamp, an Ibanez Accu-cast BII bridge with 19mm string spacing, a graphite nut and Ibanez Smooth Tuner BII tuning machines. The RB830 is a related model with a P/J configuration. The RB835 was discontinued after 1989.
