Description: This is a beautiful pictorial birds-eye view map featuring The White Mountains of New Hampshire created circa 1960 for the White Mountain Recreation Association by Claude Brusseau. It measures 23 inches by 32 and 1/2 inches overall and the interior image is 19 7/8 inches by 29 and 1/2 inches. This appears to be scarce in that not many have been sold on ebay through our searches, if any at all. Iconic tourism destinations from this popular region of the NH are included such as: Lake Winnipesaukee, Squam Lake, Santa's Village, Storyland, North Conway, Mount Washington, Old Man of the Mountains, Crawford Notch State Park, and many more. The Franconia Range and Presidential Range of The White Mountains are labeled and pictured. Brusseau was an artist from the NH area who produced pieces promoting the state during the 1960s according to online research. To the best of our knowledge this is an authentic print from the time period and not a reproduction. Based on our research this appears to be a rare poster/print that is sold infrequently through dealers specializing in maps and pictorial/birds-eye views. Reasonable offers to be considered. Sold as-is, please see photos for details, though the condition is very good from our limited knowledge. Would look beautiful framed. One corner is missing a very slight portion (see photo) but a frame or mat would easily cover this defect. One small "bubble" that is very difficult to see on the lower left portion but only visible with strong side lighting. Has been stored rolled and will be shipped the same way in a cardboard tube.
