They were sold by two different companies on two different continents, Georgian Furnishing Co., Ltd. of New Orleans, as this chair is marked, and Maitland & Glascoe of London. It appears to have been manufactured in Seoul, Korea. Made of carved mahogany with ball-and-claw feet, acanthus leaf, rosette, foliage and scroll motif. The chair further boast acanthus leaf carving to skirt, knees and cabriole legs, raised on claw and ball feet on the front legs. 12" (38.1cm) D x 15" (31.8cm) W x 26" (66.04cm) H; Seat 12" (30.48cm) H Vintage items are seldom perfect. Small scratches, scuffs, nicks, and dents are not only expected but considered desirable as a testament to age.
