Description: This Celadon vase form is called a double gourd form. It has a four character Chinese mark in underglaze blue signifying it was made in Jingdezhen. Jingdezhen the main area of Chinese porcelain production and this mark was sometimes used in the 2nd half of the 20th century for formal ceramics. This vase, as can be seen from the top, has a white ceramic base upon which the design has been drawn under the celadon glaze. The vase has a beautiful color and patina. It measures approx. 8 3/4 inches high, and approx. 5 inches diameter of the lower gourd. Feel free to ask questions.
