Description: Child or Doll’s Miniature Late 19th Century Staffordshire ROSES Tea Set This is a child’s or doll’s miniature Victorian soft paste ceramic Tea Set decorated in an overall yellow and pink blush color, with a pattern of painted red and pink ROSES, and with blue flowers and leaves, and then accented with gold that was made in Staffordshire, c 1900. This child’s Tea Set was purchased in England, but there are no marks to identify the pattern name or the maker. This miniature Tea Set consists of: (1) Teapot with Lid: 5.25” W x 2.5” D x 4.5” H(1) Sugar with Lid: 2.75” W x 1.5” D x 2.25” H(1) Creamer: 2.5” W x 1.5” D x 2.5” H(4) Cups: 2.5” W x 1.875” D x 1.75” H(4) Saucers: 3.75” Diameter Please excuse the white glare reflections in the photos. This child’s or doll’s Tea Set has been played with and is in excellent condition. There may be glaze skips and ponding, rough spots to the undersides, pottery frits, slight gold loss and occasional paint loss, and there may be minor typical firing imperfections that sporadically appear consistent with the manufactory methods at the time this set was produced; but nothing that diminishes the overall display value.
