Description: Offered here is a vintage children's book: Childhood Days A Choice Collections of Stories for Children, by well known authors and profusely illustrated by well known artists, published by the Grand Union Tea Company, Brooklyn Borough, New York 1898, in very good condition, illustrated paper over boards, cloth bound in red, back cover has a list of books published by Grand Union, pulp paper is oxidized and age toned, a quick thumb through shows me one page with an edge chip - I guess there may be a few more though, there is a Christmas message on the first blank endpaper - VERY lightly written in pencil. The hinges are beginning to break, corners of the covers are rubbed and slightly rounded as you would expect from a loved book this age. I see no markings inside.
