There is the absolute smallest of chip on the 10/30 neck but nothing that would effect use at all. It does have a very very light stain ring on the bottom (see picture) but very light and wont effect use at all. The glass is very high quality glass as well and not the cheap stuff you see sold from overseas. It will be ready to use out of the box. You really can't go wrong!
