Then slice vertically using your curd knife as usual for your desired curd size. These cutters are hand made of Appalachian cherry frame and stainless steel wire/crossbraces. This piece has been hand sanded and finished with a hand-rubbed washable, food safe finish. (Do not put in the dishwasher please!) The wire spacing is 1/2". It measures about 15-1/2" tall and 6-3/8" wide. Curd cutting height (max depth of curd height that it will cut in pot) is 12".
