It does not have a maker's mark or date.The condition is preowned vintage, showing some age and character. His ears are somewhat scuffy feeling at the tips as the paint seems a bit chippy but I don't see any large ceramic chips. I can see a crack on one ear but it doesn't go all the way through to the underside. He does have a crack at the base that appears to come up through the tree area but it's not visible when it's displayed. This little owl, upon close inspection, has seen better days, but overall he is a cute collectible display item for any owl lover. Primarily because of the look on his face, which is fairly serious.
