Central Electronics 100V Ham Radio Transmitter (beautiful, restored in 2004)

Description: This Central Electronics 100V is in amazing cosmetic condition. There's one small scuff on the side (see pictures), but overall I can easily say this is the nicest piece of CE equipment I've seen and wouldn't hesitate to give it a 9-out-of-10. It was acquired from a serious collector who's in the process of downsizing his massive collection. He bought it right here on eBay in 2004 (records included). It was offered for sale by K5EF who did the restoration work around that time. As you can see in the original 2004 description, it received a full going-through with new tubes, all modules rebuilt, and the VFO fully restored. Further, all knobs and controls were wheel polished and new nickel-plated hardware installed where applicable. It hasn't seen much use since purchased in 2004. However, we gave it a quick test on the bench and measured 115W on 80-meters, 110W on 40, 85W on 20, 105W on 15, and 25W on 10. The power cable is beginning to crack, so it's a good idea to replace that to ensure safe and reliable operation. The sale includes a copy of the user manual, original schematics, and 2004 sales receipt. This is obviously an extremely heavy piece of equipment and I'm not comfortable shipping with any ground carrier. It's too heavy and the risk of damage is high. You'll have to pick this up from our shop in Sparks, NV. You can also arrange to have it picked up using a carrier like uShip.com, but you're responsible for all aspects of this service including any damage that occurs in transit.
