The setting's slender teardrop shape evolves naturally from a woven Celtic knot pattern that gracefully cascades downward to meet the gemstone. The sterling silver is bright and polished and doesn't distract from the stone's delicate opalescence, and the knot pattern is cut-out for a light touch that is consistent with the moonstone's character. Like most cabochons, this one has a nice dome shape which gives it an orb-like fullness.
