This design allows for a large visual presentation with the help of the wide double T pocket. On the graphic, CCM EF5 features long striped designs that run vertically through to the pocket of the glove, creating a big visual appearance. The entire face will be outfitted with CCM’s Proprietary “Speedskin” synthetic stamped material that is designed to preform the best out of all materials CCM has to offer.Continuing on to the face of the EF5, you will see a very similar design to the EF4 which features a cuff design built to have easier top corner coverage due to the shape favoring the “thumb” side of the cuff. CCM received a lot of feedback from the 600 degree design of the EF4 glove which they noted and made some changes to the closure point of the EF5 glove so ensure a full closure and easier break in.On to the palm, the Extreme Flex 5 comes with a game-ready feel, protected by the D3O Smart Material through the glove for high-performance impact protection for any type of glove save. D3O is a polyurethane energy-absorbing material used for shock and impact absorption to prevent from stingers in the palm and fingers. The inner palm is layered with this D3O material to aid in the closure and protection.Furthermore, on the internal build, CCM has decided to go with Nash finger stalls for a more comfortable feel and quicker release when wearing this glove.
