In his turn, a player may place his phantom as a second follower (on a second feature) on the tile he just placed. Thus, in one turn, a player may deploy 2 followers on different features on the tile he has just placed. When a player gets back his phantom, he can play it in a later turn. As with a normal follower, the phantom can also be placed as the only follower on a turn and always counts as a normal follower." - riograndegames.com The differences between the original Hans im Glück Phantom and the Replicant Phantom meeples is that the originals have a sharper shape and are thinner than the wooden meeples whereas the replicants match the wooden meeples in shape and thickness. The originals have a fainter coloring compared to the replicants which were manufactured with more colorant which makes them easier to distinguish. Please note that the original lavender phantom works well with an actual lavender wooden meeple and reasonably well with a pink wooden meeple. Both types of Phantoms work together with the real difference being aesthetics. The purple wood does not show up well on my cameras, but the last purple photo does a little better. size: 16 x 16 x 8mm with brown being 9mm thick. The basic 5 colors: black, blue, red, green, & yellow; other colors: pink, purple, sky blue, orange, brown, turquoise, white, lime, & tan (tan/salmon/unpainted). This item ships for free if sent with any other item in a package. Unfortunately, an envelope is not a package. Fast handling and safe packing are the rule.
