Description: The Late Captain G. Oxley Brunwin-Hales, R.F.C. (Royal Flying Corps). A 17.5 cm newspaper cutting, attached on a slightly larger piece of album leaf, with unrelated items on the back. Some darkening. This cutting was likely from a Colchester newspaper. The Captain's father was a Canon, the Rural Dean of Colchester, who had lost his only other son, a Lieutenant in the Lincolnshire Regiment, in 1915.
