It does contain however, some drawn illustrations and a map at the front end papers. Pre-owned hardback book with dust jacket. In very good condition. Pictorial jacket is rubbed and a little bumped and scraped. Edge wear is minimal. Burgundy cloth boards are in excellent condition. Titling in gilt to spine. An uncompleted ex libris sticker at the front paste down (but not overlaid over the end paper map). Date in ink at the foot of the rear paste down. Internally the pages are very good, clean and tight. A nice example of this volume. pp. xvii, 413. Book measures approx. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 ins.
