Description: Vintage, 1978 oil on canvas painting of desert flowering yucca in Southern California. The work measures 10" by 8" (14 1/2" by 10 1/2" framed). There is no signature on the front but on the stretcher is written "From Edith and by Edith Xmas 1978". Edith was a talented painter who obviously had some training. The impasto and heavily worked surface is very skillfully handled.
