Description: Cabinet Photo of four generations of the Royston Family Eaton Rapids - Eaton Michigan December 25, 2014. When I went on Family Search to do research I concluded that it was a generational photo portrait given to Mr. James Gruesbeck and Anna Nellie Royston Gruesbeck on Christmas December 25, 1914. Anna Nellie Royston Gruesbeck was the daughter of Rosetta D Alderson Royston, who is the older woman in the portrait Rosetta age 75. William Royston age 59 in the picture is Anne Nellie Royston Gruesbeck's brother and Rosetta Royston's son. Grover Royston age 24 is William Royston's son and Grover's son is Dean Royston age 3 months. Dean was born on July 1, 1914, so if he was 3 months old when the portrait was made, it has to be taken in October 2014. I have included a couple of screenshots from Family Search to back up my research. Condition: corner and edge wear, fading, scratches, silvering, and staining. On the back of the cabinet card, there is an older tape repair in the upper left corner. There is writing on the back Mr and Mrs James Gruesbeck December 245, 1914 Rosetta age 75, William at 59, Grover age 24, and Dean age 3 months.
