Mr. de Lemos is one of the most famous California artists and educators in the Craftsman era. He was very well-known for his color woodblock prints, but also had a very successful career as an educator, architect and painter. This piece is entitled, "Yosemite Valley," and shows off the legendary Yosemite National Park. It is signed (in the print) at lower right). I believe it dates to the early 1920s. I love the purple, yellow and blue tones of this print. An incredible piece. Condition: The print is in excellent condition. No noticeable condition issues. There is a small crease in the lower bottom corner of the cover (tracing) paper. Measurements: Print measures approximately 9.625 inches high x 7.375 inches wide.
