Description: For auction is a really nice, neat item issued in the early 1910's by the american tobacco company to help sell their brands of cigarettes. The leather itself measures approximately 2.5" by 3.75" and features the mascot and name gilted on a very soft leather. This larger series of leathers are much more difficult to find than the more common smaller leathers that feature the college flag or seal. These larger leathers were issued in larger cigarette packs that were more expensive. The leather looks better in person than what the scanner shows. The coloring looks a little brighter in the scan. I also have other college leathers, felts and silks. These leathers make great gifts for aliminae and current students attending the college. They also make really neat collectibles.
