With one hundred and seventy five plates from watercolour drawings by Mabel E Step and photographs by Henry Irving and the Author. Frederick Warne & Co, London & New York. No date I can find but have seen the year 1908 attributed to this copy online...please do your own checks if date is important. Edward Step's 'Wayside and Woodland Trees: A pocket guide to the British Sylva is a comprehensive exploration of the diverse flora found in the British countryside. With detailed descriptions and beautiful illustrations, Step delves into the identification, habitat, and significance of various trees Case of book is in good order. Bound in green cloth with gilt titles and decoration to front boards and gilt titles to spine. Boards and spine are in fairly good used order, showing age related wear/marks. Corners of boards are bumped, spine is sunned. Front hinge is sound enough (third image) rear shows a little wear (last image). Generally bright, clean and well bound internally. Overall a clean used copy but please be aware this is an antique item, believed to be 116 years old years old, & it will show signs of age and use throughout. Will include FREE careful postage and packing via Royal Mail small parcel. Thank you.
