Description: Stunning antique porcelain chocolate pot. Extremely well cared for. Superb addition to your collection! Decorated with a hand painted Watteau style scene over a white background framed in gold and floral scrollwork designs. The rest of the pot has an overall lime green ground. Gold scrolls and bands are around the top of the pot. The matching lid has gold and floral scrollwork and gold gilding along the edge. Gold highlights to the spout, handle, and finial. Marked on the base RK Dresden Germany in blue. This mark was used by Richard Klemm in Dresden Germany between 1891 and 1914. Overall, it is in near mint condition. The gold is bright and shiny. Measures approximately 5 3/8" wide from spout to handle x 8 1/2" or 21.5 cm tall to the top of the lid finial. No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Scuffs to the bottom of the pot and lid are consistent with age, use, and display. There are a few minor scuffs to the gold. See close-ups. See photos for the best description.
