Description: C A W German Blue Delft Dutch Windmill Vinegar Bottle We are pleased to offer this lovely blue and white Delft vinegar cruet bottle manufactured by C A W in Germany. It is marked with the initials 'C.A.W.' above 'GERMANY' in a triangle. This mark is unidentified according to PM & M Porcelain. The dark cobalt blue design pictures a lone figure walking down a street lined with houses and windmills in Holland. Both sides are decorated with sailing ships/sailboats. This cruet stands 8-3/4" tall and measures 3" wide by 2" deep. It has a nick on the side of the spout and crazing from age; otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a lovely piece of vintage German porcelain that you are sure to want to add to your Dutch canister collection.
