Description: Ultra Rare Madame Alexander Sonja Henie Doll - Circa 195115" with skates Marked: MADAME ALEXANDER on back of head under the hair.She has been laying in a doll trunk which is why her hair is a little flat in the back. Doll was only made for 1 year (1951) with soft vinyl face and hard plastic body per Madame Alexander 2004 Collectors Dolls Price Guide #29 by Linda Crowsey pg. 49 and is featured on prominently at top left of page 20 of Doll Values Tenth Edition 2009 by Linda Edward Hard plastic body with ultra rare early "Madelaine" vinyl head with great color.All original hair. The hard plastic body has no cracks & is strung nicely. Both blue eyes open & close with slight movement of body. She is in her original original tagged pink satin skater's outfit with a floral design and rhinestones, lace netting (small tears) underneath, and matching pink satin panties, thigh high stockings (with a couple of rips), skates and necklace.She is in very excellent used condition. Comes with the original cardboard lid from her box as shown in photos. Comes with Madame Alexander Haircomb and curlers as shown in photo andanother dress which has no tag that needs some TLC.
