C. 1880 Prattware Covered Pot / Jar "Hide & Seek" Trinket Box VGC 4.25" Diameter

Description: Sweet Prattware covered pot featuring family playing children's game of Hide and Seek. Has an old price tag on bottom indicating previous price of 30 shillings. For it's age, this is actually in extremely good condition. C. 1880. Very collectible. Condition: Very good giftable condition. Only mentionable issues: 1) appears to be repaired flake on rim just right of word "seek" (see photo #3), 2) Darkening around pot lid rim bottom where it meets the body, 3) extremely small flake on bottom pot rim where it meets body (see photo #4), 4) light crazing near that bottom rim discoloration, as well as under the lid. Colored transfers / decals are intact, with good color, no scratches or erosion.. No other mentionable chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. Don't feel anything amiss when I run finger around edges. Underneath, light surface scratches commiserate with age and use when held up to the light.
