Mike Singletary was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 1981 NFL Draft. During the mid-1980s, he was known as The Heart of the Defense. The 10-time Pro Bowler helped lead the Bears to win Super Bowl XX. He was twice named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998. Brian Urlacher was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He finished his first season leading the Bears with 124 tackles and 8 sacks, earned his 1st Pro Bowl selection, and was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. His playing style and reputation quickly made him a fan favorite. The 8-time Pro Bowler was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2005.
