A work of art as well as a practical piece of furniture, this antique Renaissance Henry II style buffet was made in France around the year 1900 and it is ornately crafted. The doors on the top hutch of the buffet are carved with knight or warrior figures, flanking the central door which features stained glass in tones of red, green and yellow gold in a geometric pattern. At the center, a round medallion borders a winged lion, a very impressive beast indeed! A carved lion mask on the central lower cabinet adds to the noble look. The buffet or server offers plenty of cabinet storage for your serving dishes or other household items, in addition to drawers for your silverware and napkins. A plate rack with carved spindles is the perfect place to display your favorite plates and platters on this stunning antique French Henry II buffet. ConditionCondition: GOOD In overall good condition. Antique and vintage items by their very nature show normal wear to finish and miscellaneous scratches, nicks, and dings due to age and use. Upholstered items may show wear consistent with age and use and may need to be reupholstered.
