Description: Buffalo Pottery Antique Emerald Deldare Basket, Moth/Butterfly Art Nouveau Beautiful basket with graceful curved lines in the art nouveau style. The deep green transfer decoration is highlighted with hand painted white and blue and features a large moth or butterfly on each side with smaller moths along the rim. Manufactured in 1909. Very hard to find piece.Condition: Professional restoration to handle crack near the rim and underside rim chip, difficult to detect. Some white glaze dripped or was misapplied during the original hand painting/highlighting process and some of the transfer decoration is out of alignment. Some light mineral residue visible inside in the right light. Fine overall crazing. Displays beautifully. Marks: Buffalo sign mark, Made at ye Buffalo Pottery, 1909, Deldare Ware Underglaze.
