Description: These are plywood rings to replace the fiberboard vented rings in the Estes Sasha model rocket kit. These are much stronger than the fiberboard kit rings and won't crimp when you install them. This listing is for one set of two rings. The new vented rings used in the two stage Estes kits (Sasha, Boosted Bertha) allow the booster stage to stay in contact with the upper stage slightly longer making for more reliable ignition of the upper stage. The problem is the rings are fiberboard and are easily crimped and bent in installation and degrade quickly in the hot gasses of staging. These plywood replacement rings are much stronger, making them easier to install and they last longer than the kit rings. These rings allow the install of a 24mm (D or E motor) in a BT-60 body tube. These are recommended for the Sasha kit, or to upgrade the Boosted Bertha kit. Never use these rings in a single-stage kit! Your parachute will not come out!
