Inside the glass globe are full colored miniature replicas of Times Square theatres and billboards for many Broadway shows including Rent, Ragtime, Titanic, Phantom, Civil War, Annie Get Your Gun, Les Miz, and many others. The skyscrapers are depicted with smiling faces wearing party hats, in celebration of the Millennium. In the middle is the New Year's globe with "2000" on the top. The base is sculpted with even more Broadway show billboards and New York street scenes. Shake the globe and it fills with white glittery snow, wind the key underneath and the music plays "Auld Lang Syne". It stands 6.5" tall on a 5" diameter round base, and weighs 3.25 lbs. A terrific souvenir of the 2000 Broadway season and the Millennium celebration.
