No, you get the entire animal AND one that is nicely preserved for being 290 MILLION YEARS OLD! That is amazing! The amphibian is a small Branchiosaurus fossil in a rock matrix. These extinct creatures lived during the Permian Period. The fossils locality is Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany making this specimen even more rare since that site has been closed to collecting since the 1980's. The matrix measures 3" x 2.25" x .1875" thick (approximately) and weighs 30 grams. The amphibian measures 1.75" long. The fossil is in good condition and comes with a free Riker display box.
