Description: Here's a vintage Bonnie Cashin for Coach "Swinger" bag, likely made in the late 1960s or early 70s. Note that this is a pre-creed bag with Coach metal tag, later called style #8516. Made from glove-tanned leather, this fabulous shoulder bag features an open main compartment and two kiss lock pocket sections, all lined in Bonnie's signature striped fabric. *** Note that the color on this one is what I'd call "blavy" in certain light it looks navy, but most likely a patina'd black!*** A fabulous vintage shoulder bag, designed by Bonnie Cashin for Coach! No original hang tag, but we're throwing in a new Coach 'Remade Baseball tag' in black (as shown in our pics). Made in the USA. Approximate measurements: 8.5in H x 5.5in L x 4.5in D with an 18in strap drop. Preowned/vintage (50+ years old) with signs of age, use and prior wear: spots/loss/scratches to gold metal frame (photo 14); a spot to interior (last image); some rubs to the exterior corners (photo 13); some bends to the leather shoulder straps from storage.
