Description: This is a fantastic Boer War cover from St. Helena It was sent from St. Helena to London, UK on December 21, 1901. Something interesting about this one is that it was signed by the Chief Censor and marked in purple with Prisoners of War Censor. Unfortunately, the 2d Stamp has been removed, but the other stamp is marked with Half Penny. By the way, that stamp is SG 34, which is valued at L 25 x 15 (when on cover) in the SG Catalog. Still a pretty and rare item, even with the missing 2d stamp taken off. This lot is $100 or more USD so I will ship it with priority mail in the United States, and registered mail overseas.
