Description: This is a used DME/ECU updated with the latest firmware version MS43_00069 and a stock tune file from BMW, with the EWS/Immobilizer deleted and the corresponding DTC suppressed. This is compatible with the 3.0L M54B30 engine found in the e46 330i, e46 330xi, e46 330ci, e39 530i, and e53 X5.It’s compatible with both automatic and manual transmissions, and all body styles (touring, sedan, coupe, SUV). Before purchasing, please verify that your car currently has an ms43 in one of the following ways: - inspect your mass airflow sensor connector. If the connector has 5 pins, this will not be compatible - remove the cover from the DME box and unplug the DME. Pull it out from its plastic housing and verify that it is marked “MS43” All of these have been road-tested in my 2001 M54b30 swapped touring and have no issues. While testing these I use INPA to reset adaptations once they are in the car and recommend that you do the same with INPA or whatever OBD2 diagnostic tool you have, or take it to a BMW dealership and have them reset the adaptations. If you have INPA and a K+DCAN cable I can simply virginize the DME’s EWS data and you can sync the two modules in minutes with INPA. That way you still retain your immobilizer.
