A most resplendent, fully reversible (!!), full-length genuine shearling cloak, made in the USA by Birger Christensen for Saks Fifth Avenue. A vintage piece--though its quality, condition, & minimalistic design keep it timeless. Solid black, & entirely reversible between velvety suede & full shearling facings (the pockets can be inverted to hide the labels). Spongy, thick, soft-as-all-get-out--a dream to wear! Very high gothique snow queen, with a floor-trailing hem & humongous hood (which can be worn down/draped like a voluminous shawl collar). Wide drop seam sleeves. Deep slit pockets at sides. Open front, no closure. Marked size M. In overall very good vintage condition--mild general wear--a few minor whitish surface marks at back/near hem, but not conspicuous to my eye--very supple & clean for its age, IMO.
