Big PUFF BOX Powder Jar American brilliant Cut glass Pitkin & Brooks King George

Description: I will be selling pieces from my personal collection of American Brilliant Cut glass, so please add me to your favorite seller list for future rare pieces. .........................................................This is a "Puff Box" w/ the original lid - this is a large size in the catalogs for a puff boxMeasure: about 5-1/4" wide by 4" tall. It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1920 roughly) which is over 100 years old now! This is the "King George" pattern by Pitkin & Brooks glass co. It is on the "Grace Puff Box". It is signed with the P&B signature on the side of the lower half right below where the lid sits on it- I mark it with a sticker for you to find. This is a very hard to find pattern & jar.This is over 100 years old. It has no chips on the bottom dish rim. The lid has a couple tiny nips on the rim edge and one area where it was dinged on the inside and left a heat-check fracture. I show close ups- they seem to cause no issues for the lid and no one will notice this when displayed...........................................................No Returns! : Sorry but due to cost of shipping & insurance for this heavy glass, I have a No returns policy! I cannot get that shipping back and also give you free shipping back here as well because you decided it wasn't what you needed. I wrap with lots of bubble and padding, use double boxing, mark fragile clearly all over the box, always pay to fully insure your item as well (so please read about Insurance claims next). Items over 250- value will also have signature delivery. Insurance claim (loss or damage): Please do not open a dispute with ebay without contacting me first because it is not necessary. I will make an insurance claim and you will be taken care of. I pack to survive, but if they break it I will need pictures to file the claim online. However, shippers do not just honor claims online anymore with the photo's only- now they tend to ask for an inspection of the item. USPS will send a letter within a week asking for the item to be brought in for inspection, while other companies may come to the residence for the inspection by appointment. I have to get the claim approved and the item inspected BEFORE I can refund now because they always require inspections and we have to comply with them. So first, pictures. Second, inspection with shipper. Third, shipper approval and refund sent to you.
