Description: The Benrus Series 3061 is the civilian version of the U.S Military issued MIL-W-46374 watch which was mainly issued to soldiers in the Vietnam war unlike its military counterpart the 3061 features a polished case and the case back having the Benrus logo on the back as opposed to a military stamped code. Movements however were both exactly the same. These facts are interesting in their own right and its a great watch to wear but for many what makes this piece special is that its exactly the watch worn by the king of cool himself Mr Steve McQueen in the epic film Bullitt. The watch is in good running condition and keeps time well, but may benefit from a clean. It has been in my private collection for 30 years.With a dial and hands restoration this would be a stunning and valuable timepiece.
