Description: This antique storybook figurine is a brown stoneware Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf. The figurine is glazed except for Little Red’s face and hands. The pottery is likely Bennington Rockingham piece. Measurements: approx 4-1/2” tall x 1-3/4” at the widest. Markings: the back appears to have an inscribed signature but it is illegible, this could also be just part of the glaze. Condition: the very tip of the bow has a tiny tiny chip (can’t really see it but I can feel it), the glaze is a kind of rough in some spots (this is a manufacturing issue not damage), there was a bubble in the pottery on the underside just below the letters N & G that looks like a chip but isn’t. 12436
