These movements give you insight into your baby’s bodily processes such as breathing, possible struggles, and movements. You put the pad underneath his/her sleeping mat, then hook the pad up to the main home base monitor in the nursery, then you carry your parent monitor with you. The home base will send you signals to your monitor as movements or sounds. You can monitor every movement the baby will make. You can adjust the sensitivity on it to pick up even the slightest movements and the signal will be sent to the parent monitor. If your baby stops moving completely for 20 seconds then you will get an alarm beep. It’s great if your baby has newborn struggles/problems, or has even a cold, and you want to make sure he/she is safe. It’s also great if you want to be on the safe side of monitoring your newborn.
