Description: Here is a delightful vintage bag. This is a black straw top handle bag by Garay. It is a "soft" woven straw, as opposed to hard wicker or plastic. Very cool design, as you can see! Bag will stand upright on its own. Handle is amber lucite (at least I think it is lucite!). Gold tone frame with kiss-lock closure. Beige fabric interior with one slip pocket. Label inside says Garay. Bag is approx. 11-1/2 wide across at the middle x 6 tall to top of frame x 6 wide on the bottom, front to back. From my personal collection and stored for many years, this is in fabulous vintage condition - the straw is excellent, as is the handle; gold tone frame has various wear spots; interior shows a few marks and one tiny hole in lining but very clean overall. This is a terrific vintage bag - just a lovely design - and a terrific addition to your collection.
