Description: Beautiful Roseville Pottery Circa 1915 Donatello Pattern Six Inch Jardinière For Your Roseville Pottery Collection-DonatelloPlanter1 Details Description: A most beautiful green and brown colored art pottery nice size jardinière by the Roseville Pottery Company. This jardiniere which is about 5 7/8" tall is in the Donatello pattern. The pattern shows cherubs in action on brown background all around the exterior of the planter, which has a green and gray fluting. The piece has small green felt circles, which have been applied all along the edge of the base to sit on it and not scratch the surface under it. The piece is unmarked as is always the case with this early Roseville pattern. It was made in 1915 and designed by Frederick Rhead. Date: 1915 Origin: The piece is part of a large collection purchased from a collector in Southern New Jersey, which we have been and will continue listing over the coming weeks and months. It was of course made in Roseville, Ohio Size: The piece measures ~6 3/4" in diameter on top, ~4" in diameter at the base, and is ~5 7/8" high. The piece weighs slightly over 3 pounds. Maker: Roseville Pottery Company Marks: unmarked as it is always the case with this pattern of Roseville pottery.
