I am the original purchaser of multiple sets of battery operated candle tree lights. Items have been stored in a smoke free and climate controlled environment. Unfortunately, due to age the original batteries that were included were signs of corrosion and have been removed and are not included. This set does NOT come with batteries. Batteries will be required for the candles and remote to function properly. As a gauge...I personally have 4 sets of these candles that I use on my 7.5' Christmas tree and decorate with approx. 40 candles. It provides an adequate amount of light on my tree without using any string lights, however, this is my opinion and preference only...you may like to mix with string lights and have more or less candles on your tree :) Please message me with questions prior to purchase.
