Description: This Baltimore Rose by Schofield ladle or spoon is 5 3/8" long and weighs 32 grams. Schofield made their repousse style flatware with high relief pattern on the front, but also decorated the back of many of their pieces with lower relief repousse work. Told by a collector that this is a mustache spoon, made to enable men to sip liquids in without getting them on their facial hair. There is a monogram removal on the back of the handle. It is also marked on back with Schofield's hallmarks and sterling
