Those who rode a school bus back in the day might remember that paddles were not just used at school but by the bus drivers as well. This is not a thin novelty paddle but one designed for the purpose. It is about 18" x 4" x 1/2" and made of solid maple. Good condition as shown. It is stained, and has dings on the edges and a corner.
