Description: David Fisher ~ Faces of Love ~ 29" Tall Large 1985 AUSTIN PRODUCTIONS SCULPTURE This beautiful sculpture by David Fisher in 1985 titled "Faces of Love" is of a man and woman in a deep loving embrace. This large 29 inch sculpture has a striking design and has elements inspired by contemporary art design in the streamlined hair and black piano base. Signed Fisher below on the sculptures base and Austin Prod Inc. 1985. Sculpture Measures: 29"H (measured to the top of the man's head) Sculpture Measures: 14"W (measured from the back of the man's head to the back of the woman's head).Sculpture Base Measures: 10.5" x 10.5"Sculpture Weight in lbs: 24lbsThis sculpture is made of Durastone not plaster. The caster puts steel armatures into he mold. Them mixes the Durastone, a special formulation of crushed stone into a slurry which is then slowly poured into the mold. The mold sits undisturbed for several hours before it can be demolded. Then the rubber shell is removed leaving a perfect reproduction of the original sculpture. It is then cleaned and buffed before being placed into the heated chamber for 48 hours. Once removed and cooled it is ready for it's final finish or patina.
